SSVC is a company concerned with providing welfare support to HM Forces. This primarily involves worldwide TV and Radio broadcasting to the armed forces
which is performed under contract from the Ministry of Defence. They are required to comply with both stringent internal and external regulations concerning
security and therefore require a robust, reliable but also a flexible system to meet their requirements.
For 5 years Access Ability has been maintaining and expanding the PAC access control system and this now includes 24 doors and 100 people. The
system has proved to be extremely reliable but Howard Lambert, the Internal Audit Manager, says that when problems have occurred the company has
effectively dealt with them. Access Ability is based in Cheshire but operates nationally and the 200 miles distance has not caused any problems
due to trusted associates based in the south being called on when necessary. He finds contact with the company is on a friendly "can do" basis and
because SSVC does not have their own in house maintenance they rely heavily on Access Ability.
When the government security advisor recently assessed the site he stated that he is more than happy with the systems and their operational state.
